Toddler Learn 'n' Draw art class is a fun filled class for kids who are learning to grip a pencil or colouring.
Creating drawings with shapes have never been more fun with the use of stencils and tracing worksheets. During the art classes, little ones get to develop their motor skills, pencil griping technique, finger strength and eye-hand coordination through simple teacher-assisted exercises.
Focus: Muscle Development , Concentration, Eye - Hand Coordination
Modules: Pastel colouring, painting and drawing
Duration: 1hr / lesson (self paced)
Age Group: 3 years - 4 years (assessment required)

K.I.S stands for Keep It Simple.
This simple form of teaching help kids understands the fundamentals of drawing from colour blending to 3D shapes drawing to simple sketching.
 
This program was developed together with a group of Independent Art Teachers (Friends) currently teaching at kindergarten, NAFA and Primary Schools. After teaching art in their respective fields, they notice that Singapore art system focus on creativity and little on skills building.
Like any subjects, art itself has many skills set required to master before one can truly be creative. A great analogy is being an Inventor. Before you can invent, you will need technical skills like fabrication. Knowledge like maths and science. Putting all these skills together, then can the power of invention take place.
Completing the K.I.S Art Program, students will learn and master the skills needed to start "Inventing".
K.I.S Foundation Art - Level 1
Foundation Art is the level that students learn the tools needed for everyday art. Tools like oil pastels, 2B pencil, colour pencils and brushes. Each module, students will explore those tools through projects and worksheets. ​
Modules covered:
Pastel blending
Teaches how colours work with each other. How to identify tones of colours. Understand colours have feeling.
Basic Lines and 3D Drawing
Understand drawings are form by lines. Every line has a purpose. Length x Width x Depth makes 3D.
Colour pencil shading
How colouring pressure changes with depth. What different pressure lines means.
Basic WaterColour
What is needed for setup. How to control brushes. How prevent colours from mixing together.
​K.I.S Elementary Art - Level 2
The journey through this elementary art will be tough but very rewarding. This specialization offers a higher level of sketching from animals to 3D objects to sceneries to picture composition. This level is where students apply what they have learnt at Foundation Art.
Modules covered:
 
Grid Line Drawing
Understand coordinate system and how location works. Learn how to use ruler to design grid lines.
Advance Grid Line Drawing
How draw with great detail and accuracy and proportion. How to magnify objects and distort shapes.
Picture Composition
Create well design art work with what is given. How apply depth perspective
K.I.S Water Colour Painting - Level 3
Students will learn to appreciate watercolouring in these short 12 lessons program. This traditional medium is widely used in any mixed medium concepts and very practical in everyday use. Students will learn, in depth, the skills in brush control and different painting techniques to complete their breath-taking art pieces. ​
Modules covered:
Colour Chart
Learn for Shades and Tint works and how to create a good blending.
Painting Techniques
Learn how different brush stokes create different effects and understand when to use those brush strokes.
Projects
Apply those skills to projects and see the amazing outcome and be proud of it.

K.I.S-Sketch teaches students basic pencil works to advance pencil control and Still Life.
The program is a step-by-step learning process to fully understand student's own capability and motorskills. ​
The program helps students work on foundation skills needed to advance in the area of drawing.
​Regardless of ability, students will sure witness major improvement in their drawings and observation skills.
K.I.S - SKETCH Basic
The module teaches students basic pencil works in Lines Construction, Pressure Control, Tones and 3D Drawing.
K.I.S - SKETCH Advance
The module teaches students basic Colour Pencil Works, Observation Capability, Proportion and Perspective. ​
K.I.S - SKETCH LIFE
The module teaches students Lighting Techniques, Advance Perspective and Still Life.

Acrylic Junior is an introductory painting course for students to gain exposure to using Acrylic Paint. This program is designed for students to experience painting and gain basic knowledge on how to utilize and manage the medium.

Paint Like a Pro™ is a painting program design to train students to master skills and knowledge in using this medium. This is a step-by-step training program. Students starts from learning the different brushes to techniques to replicating complexed works from different artist.

Students will learn to create animation using the environment around them. This is a fun way to explore animation and how it bring everything to LIFE.

Students will focus on DRAWING animation to integrate with life object to display AR Animation.

Animation is an emerging medium of communication. More and more learners are aspiring to learn and make a career in this domain. However, animation training is expensive due to the high cost of proprietary animation software.

​This course is designed using an open source 3D animation tool: Blender, to create a sustainable solution for animation skill development. Individuals interested in developing skill sets for 3D animation should take this course in order to learn the nuances of 3D animation and Blender. The course has 4 lessons of content, which cover the 3D Modelling, Path Animation and Animation baking for WebAR deployment..

Objective: 

1) Understanding UI of blender 3D

2) Build Low Polymer 3D models using Blender tools

3) Explore motion path 

​4) Bake animation and deploy to WebAR environment

Duration: 

4 days / 3 Hrs / day

Age: 

10 years old

Students will learn Digital Art software (Procreate) and create amazing digital art works. Students will gain Technical Competencies and Strong Observation skills by the end of the course.

This course is a weekly course which will allow students time to practice and develop their skills is a manageable pace. Students do not need any prior experience except a strong sense of adventure.
