1.Children’s Ballet Classes

2.Jazz Dance Class
Our Jazz Dance Class fuses the funky and
groovy elements of hip hop with jazz techniques and movement. Become a more
versatile dancer in this class which strengthens the core, improves overall
body co-ordination and musicality, with a wide range of movements and
never-ending fun dancing to the latest Pop/Rock beats. A fun and comprehensive
dance class for kids, designed to awaken a sense of creativity while developing
skills in rhythm and movement.

3.Tap Dancing
Our tap classes follow the CSTD
curriculum.
Tap is a great way to exercise, to
develop rhythm, style and coordination and is an easily accessible dance form
for all ages.
From the traditional style of Fred
Astaire to the more recent styles of tap dogs and stomp, this syllabus gives
students a real feeling of achievement and prepares them for the intricacies of
more advanced steps and choreography.

4.Character Dance
Character
dance is a fun way to improve technique by extending your repertoire through a
range of dynamic movements. It
represents a form of choreographic art and is an integral part of a dancer’s
training in Ballet, as it is also part of the Ballet Syllabi.
The benefits of this class include
development in flexibility, strength and stamina through the use of the torso
and shoulders, as well as exposure to a variety of different musical styles.
Learning the art of character dance will
expose you to many popular character dance adaptations including the national
dances of Hungary, Russia, Poland, Italy, China and Spain.
This class is suitable for anyone age 6
and above.

5.Pre-School Dance Classes
At Stepping Out Studios, we offer
preschool dance classes for children aged 2 years and above. We use the Melody
Movement Early Learning syllabus which targets the specific needs of little
ones as young as 2 years old and focuses on discovering and fulfilling the
potential of each child in our programme. The syllabus gives our dance
instructors the tools needed to provide our students with an effective and
enjoyable class by nurturing their creative development in music through
movement, ballet, and tap dancing.

6.Little Stars
Little Stars is an exciting new course
for younger dancers (aged 4 to 5) which prepares them for the transition to the
CSTD graded classes. The Little Stars have a choice of learning a mix of jazz
and tap or ballet and jazz.
This is an engaging and exciting
introduction to dance for youngsters! If your child loves to dance and move
their feet, they will love this fun new class!

7.Melody Bear Preschool Dance Class
The Melody Bear dance movement is making
its debut in Singapore! Melody Movement, created by Jill Bridger, is a unique
dance syllabus targeted at 2–4-year-olds. This preschool dance class introduces
children to concepts of ballet, tap, music and movement.
Your child will love dancing alongside
the cute Melody Bear at these exciting lessons, which will ignite his/her
passion for dance.
Melody Movement uses natural body actions
like running, walking, skipping to introduce your child to dance movement. It
also explores development in motor skills like galloping, hopping, etc.
Melody Bear is the lovable teddy at the
heart of the Melody Movement Early Learning dance syllabus created by
children’s dance teacher, Jill Bridger. Melody Bear’s fun-filled adventures, stories,
themes, action songs and music inspire children’s inherent zest for dance,
movement and creative expression.

Instructions
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before
the class to allow time for registration and temperature checks.
Your child should arrive in comfortable
clothing, suitable for dance or physical activity.
Please also bring along a soft toy for
your child to dance with.
