1.Junior-Youth Ballet
Our programs are based on the 8 levels of the Vaganova method, with clear progression, a comprehensive syllabus and exams. The Vaganova method is one of the strongest training pedagogies in professional ballet, and we believe that it truly brings out the best in dancers - in technique, artistry and performance. Our group classes welcome all students from age 4 and up. Our Aspire pre-professional program selects students from existing group classes and we work with them for competitions and preparing them for a professional ballet future.Pre Ballet(Ages 4-6)- Introduction to classical ballet
- Physicality: This component prepares the young dancer for classical technique in their physical development by means of gymnastical exercises.
- Classical technique: Learning fundamental ballet positions and vocabulary.
- Dance movements and balletic choreography: Polka, Polonaise, Waltz etc.
- No experience needed
Level 1, 2(Ages 7-9)- Focus on placement, form and turnout
- Foundational technique at the barre and center
- Foundational allegro (jumps)
- Develop musicality and coordination skills
- Gymnastical exercises included in every class
- Learn full range of barre work
Level 3, 4(Ages 9-12)- Mastery of demi-pointe work and exercises at the barre
- Complete study of small and large poses
- Beginning of study of turns
- Strengthening of Level II technique and building it on a quicker tempo and with more complex exercises
- Master elementary pointe technique
