Kate Porter Yoga

From time to time, Kate Porter Yoga organizes a Kids Yoga class  or a Parent-Child Yoga class, usually on weekends. Doing yoga with kids or having children engaged in yoga is a good way to cultivate awareness, patience and increase confidence in your child.

Children have fun while stretching, breathing and creating shapes with their bodies. Research has shown that children exposed to yoga at an early age can help them to better cope with stress and anxiety later in life. It also gives them a good foundation to build on for better self awareness and compassion in an activity that is non-competitive, thereby cultivating an appreciation for the non-material in life.
