1.CONTEMPORARY
This course will further enhance one’s
understanding of contemporary dance with the use of weight, fall and recover,
and personal expression. The class will include exercises to stretch,
strengthen and improve contemporary dance techniques. Classes will also end
with a simple choreography at the end of each term.

2.LYRICAL JAZZ
This is a modern-day version of classical
ballet; a fusion of modern jazz and ballet movements to the rhythm of lyrical
music.
It combines jazz moves and classical
ballet dance techniques without the common en-pointe requirement. For those who
prefer a more expressive dance and without the restrictive moves of a classical
ballet, this is the perfect alternatives for you.

3.Ballet For Kids
LITTLE STEPS II / PRE-BALLET
And introduction level to ballet, young
children are introduced to the basics of ballet using a fun-based, thematic and
imaginative approach; with a focus on motor skills coordination, memory enhancements,
musicality and simple stretching movements.
Minimum age: Little Steps (min 3 years
old) / Pre-Ballet (min 4 years old)
Duration: 45 mins
CLASSICAL BALLET
Format: syllabus-based and progressive,
building upon the previous level, new techniques, musicality and repertoire
will be introduced to deepen our student’s knowledge of ballet and enthusiasm
in dancing.
KINDER BALLET – FOUNDATION IN PRE-PRIMARY
/ PRE-PRIMARY
Based on New RAD Syllabus, emphasis is on
basic posture and discipline in creative exercises to develop flexibility,
strength, musicality and coordination. Creative themed-dance is injected into
classes for a fun dance experience.
Minimum age: 5 – 6 years old
Duration: 60 mins
KINDER BALLET – PRIMARY
This is a progression from Pre-Primary
level. Exercises are structured to follow the RAD new syllabus to further
develop the child’s ability to perform simple combinations of ballet steps and
movement while maintaining clean body lines and posture.
Emphasis is at these levels are to ensure
basic body alignment for a solid foundation in ballet. The Five Basic Position
in ballet will be introduced at this level. Basic barre exercises such as
plies, battement tendus, battement jetes, releves and jumps in 1st, 2nd, and
5th positions will also be taught.
Minimum age: 6 years old
Duration: 60 mins
BALLET GRADE 1-2 – DURATION: 90 MINS PER
LESSON (TWICE A WEEK)
Class exercises at this level will
include barre exercises and introduction of centre practices including plies,
battement tendus, battement jetes, rond dejambe, fondus, releves, grand
battement and jumps.
Focus is placed on building sound
fundamental classical ballet training with emphasis on body alignment and
strong footwork.
BALLET GRADES 3-5 – DURATION: 90 MINS PER
LESSON (TWICE A WEEK)
For grades 3-5, students are introduced
to more ballet vocabulary within each exercise at barre and centre practice.
This includes warm-ups barre exercises from plies, tendus, jetes, rond de
jambe, fondus, rond de jambe en’lair, frappes and petit battements. Each
routine exercise is more demanding and is designed to strengthen and build the
correct muscles in the feet, legs and upper body. There will be increased focus
for slow adage exercises, petit allegro, medium jumps and pirottes in 4th and
5th positions. A most common technique understood by all is en pointe or as
commonly used in children’s Ballet, ‘on tippy toes’ at the barre and centre
releve, ballones, bourress, echappes and retires will be taught.

4.HIP-HOP/KPOP
Hip Hop has grown in popularity amongst
kids with its regular exposure and connection to MTV and hip hop music. Kids
could channel their energy through outward expression of their creativity in
various creative dance steps.
Hip Hop Juniors: 5 – 6 years old
Hip Hop Kids: 7 – 9 / 10 – 12 years old
Hip Hop Teens/Adult: Above 13 years old

5.MODERN JAZZ
A fusion of jazz and contemporary
movements, dance enthusiasts get to enjoy a new class experience. Rhythms and
dance moves may swing to the tunes of slow ballads to fast jazzy songs. If you
are new to dance and want to experience this type of dance, join us at the
introduction level. For those who have dance background in similar or other
dance types, you may try out at the Beginners Level.
