2.JC A-Level Mathematics Tuition
Preparing for your A levels stressing you
out? Need guidance understanding the new syllabus? You might be aware that
since 2016, JC1 pupils have been affected by the syllabus change and would have
been the first batch taking the new syllabus 9758. Fortunately, our materials
are based on the latest H2 Math Syllabus issued by the Ministry of Education
Singapore. When JC A Level students attend our mathematics lessons, they will
receive comprehensive notes with detailed explanations and question packs that
have been revised according to the updated examination syllabuses. Our team of

3.IB ECONOMICS TUITION
IB
Economics Tuition
Economics is the analysis of how people,
firms, cultures, and governments distribute limited resources. Due to the
central problem of scarcity, we are unable to consume resources infinitely.
Economics teaches us how to think critically and make informed choices on how
we can better make use of resources to ensure sustainability for future
generations.
The IB Super IB Economics programme in
Singapore aims to to motivate students to gain a broader perspective of
resource allocation through the IB Economics framework that studies how
stakeholders such as governments, consumers and producers continue to meet the
needs of people without overusing resources.
The
Curriculum
The IB Economics curriculum has undergone
a major revamp. Students sitting for the IB exams in 2022 will be taking the
new IB Economics curriculum. The curriculum is centred around 9 basic concepts:
scarcity, choice, efficiency, equity, economic well-being, sustainability,
change, interdependence and intervention. By designing the curriculum around
these nine central concepts, students deepen their understanding of the subject
by making the connections between these ideas.
Individuals can make the decision to
either take IB Economics at the Higher level (HL) or Standard Level (SL).
HL students must take papers 1, 2 and 3
and finish their Internal Assessment. Meanwhile, SL students have to do their
Internal Assessment and take papers 1 and 2.
Paper 1: Essay paper on all syllabus
content
Paper 2: Qualitative and quantitative
questions based on case studies
Paper 3: HL a policy paper with quantitative
questions
Most of the changes occur in Paper 1,
students now do one essay question out of a choice of 3 questions in 1 hour 15
mins. The questions can come from any part of the syllabus so it is harder for
students to narrow down topics to study for their Economics essay paper.
Internal Assessment: Three analyses of
news articles based on separate parts of the syllabus
They must then be able to analyze and
comment on news articles. It allows them to apply these concepts to real-life
contexts. To excel in this course, students have to be well-read. Keeping up
with the newest global economic changes is a requirement for all IB economics
students.

4.IB PHYSICS TUITION
IB PHYSICS
TUITION FOR SINGAPORE STUDENTS
Why study
IB Physics?
Physics is the scientific study of matter
and energy and how they interact with each other. It helps us to understand how
things work, from cameras, light bulbs, black holes to the universe around us.
Most students would agree that physics is
one of the most challenging Group 4 (Experimental Sciences) subject. Yet, we
cannot deny the importance of physics. Students who have studied IB Physics
have many career options open to them. They will be eligible to apply to most
university engineering courses, dentistry, as well as computer science courses
as IB Physics is a prerequisite for these courses.
Physics is a useful subject. It equips
students with analytic skills. These skills are transferable and can be used to
solve real life problem. Even if you do not choose to be a scientist in the
end, the practical skills gained through planning experiments will also be
greatly appreciated by future employers.

6.O Level - A Maths Tuition
Taking The O Level Examinations? Ace A Math With Tuition
Classes
The subject O Level Additional Mathematics, 4047 offered by
the Singapore Cambridge Examinations Board focuses on four main areas, algebra,
geometry and trigonometry, and calculus. This subject is said to be rigorous
and demanding as it prepares students for A level H2 mathematics and many other
pre-university courses. With pupils having to study these broad ranges of
pre-tertiary topics in addition to other O level subjects, many A Math pupils
turn to tuition classes for extra guidance and assurance. Additional
Mathematics aims to have O level students innately connect ideas between math
and science by applying the skills they learned when studying the subject. With
A math tuition classes, this ability is further enhanced.
Many students inevitably feel that the study of Additional
Mathematics is rigorous and challenging. As mentioned, it is a practical
subject that helps students in their tertiary education. The study of O level
Additional Mathematics opens doors to many future jobs and academic
opportunities. O level A Math teaches students to think rationally and
logically, this mindset can be transferred to other areas and help students
excel in their careers. At IB Super, we aim to increase these academic success
rates and opportunities presented to pupils who attend our tuition classes.
What will O level Students Learn During A Math Tuition

7.IB Maths Tuition
What are the subjects offered in IB Mathematics?
The IB Mathematics syllabus has undergone a major revamp and
will affect students taking these exams starting from 2021.
What has changed in IB Mathematics curriculum?
Increased number of subjects in IB Mathematics
In the old syllabus, students chose between three types of
Mathematics: Mathematical studies Standard Level, Mathematics Standard Level,
and Mathematics Higher Level.
Under the new syllabus, there are now four types of
Mathematics subjects for students to choose from, IB Mathematics Analysis and
Approaches (AA) – Standard Level and Higher Level, IB Applications and
Interpretations (AI) – Standard Level and Higher Level.
IB Mathematics Analysis and Approaches (AA) Standard Level
(SL) and Higher Level (HL)
IB Analysis and Approaches (AA) Standard Level and Higher
Level share similar content. IB Mathematics (AA) Standard Level is closely
related to the old Mathematics SL, while IB Mathematics (AA) Standard Level is
similar to the old Mathematics HL. In fact, IB AA Standard Level questions will
appear in the Higher-Level exam papers. This is good news for Higher Level
students as the standard level questions are relatively more straightforward,
and they’ll have a better chance of scoring in these questions.
IB AA Higher Level Mathematics is designed for students with
a high aptitude for algebra, proofs and calculus, as these topics constitute a
large part of HL AA Mathematics.
Math AA SL Mathematics has a fair bit of algebra and
calculus content, more so than IB Mathematics SL Applications and
Interpretations. IB has made the difference between SL Math and HL math wider.
The topic of vectors is taken out of SL AA Mathematics, making it less
content-heavy than the old Mathematics SL.
IB Mathematics Applications and Interpretations (AI)
Standard Level and Higher Level
IB Mathematics (AI) Standard Level
This subject is the former Mathematical Studies Standard
Level but made more rigorous than before. Several new topics are added to the
subject, such as Voronoi Diagrams, Spearman’s Rank Correlation Coefficient,
Binomial Distribution, and Math Modelling. On a positive note, there is also
content that has been taken out – Logic, for example, is one of those topics.
IB Mathematics (AI) Higher Level
IB Mathematics Applications and Interpretations Higher Level
is a new subject that schools do not offer.
Some of the questions in an IB AI Math SL exam paper can be
found in IB AI Math HL exam paper offering Higher Level students a good chance
at scoring well.
Mathematics AI HL, unlike Mathematics AA HL, has a more
significant amount of statistics content. Some of the statistics content from
the former IB Mathematics HL, such as Poisson Distribution, has been moved to
IB Maths AI HL. Mathematics AI HL contains some calculus content but is less
rigorous as compared to IB Mathematics AA HL.
