1.GooeyGRAM Age 3 - 5
GooeyGRAM
is a monthly-themed programme that helps children build a strong foundation of
the English language through a variety of books driven by children interests,
building their oratorical skills and reinforcing phonetical sounds. In this
programme, children will be exposed to a variety of messy and sensorial
activities to enhance their learning experiences. Meaningfully planned outdoor
experiences will also be conducted on a bi-termly basis.
It aims at:
- Learning language
through "Book of the Month"
- Equipping and
reinforcing basic phonetical sounds/ initial letter names
- Fostering creative
development through different art mediums

cognitively

2.PictoGRAM Age 5 - 16
PictoGRAM
is an art programme that focuses on process-based learning. Our educator
facilitates learning through helping the children conceptualize their works in
the 2D and/or 3D forms, explore and express their works through different art
mediums. Much of the curriculum is driven by the students themselves and many
of their projects encompass the use of recycled materials.
It aims at:
- Strengthening 3D visual
skills and art conceptualization
- Learning elements of
drawing techniques and styles
- Arousing curiosity and
creativity through exploration of materials
- Executing ideas through
different art mediums
- Developing individual
art styles
- Help children in
regulating their feelings
- Enhancing motor skills

3.CompreGRAM Pre-primary - 'O'levels
CompreGRAM
is a novel strategy designed by our MOE certified educators which helps your
child master English and/or Chinese in a meaningful manner through weekly
classes (without homework) covering comprehension, composition, and oral
practice.
CompreGRAM (English) - The
revised MOE English syllabus requires students to learn language skills via
rich texts. At GRAM'S, weekly passages and books are given to the students
which are focused at improving our students' reading comprehension. Weekly
worksheets that are linked to the given books improve their comprehension
skills.
CompreGRAM (Chinese) - In
PSLE, comprehension sections add up to a total of 53% of the total marks. At
GRAM'S, not only do we focus on open-ended comprehension but MCQs too! We teach
students how to overcome challenging passages despite the difficulties they
face with vocabulary. Answering techniques and tricks will also be taught to
help them score in the comprehension sections.
The pace of learning is
dependent of the child and our educators are the facilitators to guide the
children. Composition writing is also incorporated in this programme.
It aims at :

4.P5/6 Work-on-Writing Pre-primary - 'O'levels
WOW!
(Work On Writing!) is an exclusive writing programme at GRAM’S. It is an
extension of our regular CompreGRAM (English/Chinese) curriculum which is
designed especially for the Upper Primary (P5/6) students. This 10-week
process-based learning programme helps students brainstorm, communicate their
ideas and write fluently in a variety of situations (situational, continuous
and expository) for different purposes.
About the class

Max class size : 4 to 5
·
Student can come by any 10 sessions within the term. We
encourage students to come by continuously for 10 sessions from the first
class. There will be NO makeup lesson or replacement class.
·
No classes on Public Holidays.
·
Sign-ups on a first-come-first serve basis.
