Programmes Details:

Level 1 (Age 4 – 7 Years Old)

Level 1 introduces robotics fundamentals through exposing students to basic structural and engineering design. It will cover the basics of sensors, programming and electrical circuitry. These concepts combined will give the students an appreciation of robots and understanding of how sensors are applied in the real world.

Level 2 (Age 7 – 10 Years Old)

Level 2 aims to coach students on creating robots come alive through building, coding and storytelling based on the foundation in Level 1. This leads to an enhancement in their general knowledge which improves on their computational thinking and problem-solving skills.

Level 3 (Age 10 – 12 Years Old)

Level 3 helps students to explore and develop better understanding of how sensors, code, electro-mechanical circuits, and programming all come together to create robotic movements with LEGO Mindstorms. They will also learn more about programming animation and story-telling with Scratch. Designed to challenge kids on critical thinking for creative problem-solving in a team-based learning approach.

The programme seeks to develop the leadership potential of your kids in many aspects: story-telling to foster communication and creativity and animation programming to enhance digital skills.

Level 4 (Age 12+ Years Old)

Level 4 introduces mobile app concept, development and intuitive visual programming environment with the MIT App Inventor, a blocks-based coding program that inspires intellectual & creative empowerment. It also exposes students to build communication apps and program advance robotic movements using gears, levers, claws and grips with LEGO Mindstorms for competition preparations.

With mobile APP development in a visual block-based coding environment, it challenges kids to come up with their own storybook animation. It stretches their imagination and challenges them to integrate the programming with the sensors, circuits and motors that make the robots move! The outcomes are children well-prepared to face the digital future now and beyond.
